Our laser devices partners are IPG and JPT (other brands are optional), and the galvanometer is from Scanlab (other more economic brands are available too). The optional laser powder types are 300W, 500W, 700W. The warranty period is 1 year. (Exchange for free if abnormalities found in the laser device)

The accessorial machines vary depending on the printer types and the post-processing requirement. In general, the accessorial machines include:

Since the density of different types of metal powder varies. We can only offer you the required volume of metal powder for each Laseradd metal printers. Customers can calculate the weight of metal powder that they plan to use for their printers. The required metal powder volume for each printer is as following:

The key components of the optical system of Kings SLM printers include:
1.Laser device: produces the power source
2. Galvanometer: main function of galvanometer is to bring the laser beam to the print surface and control the move and the speed of laser beam.
3.F-theta lens: F-theta lenses are used to maintain a constant speed between laser dots. F-theta plays a important role in guaranteeing the laser beam’s focus so as ensure precise object formation, eliminating errors that can occur from inconsistent beam focus.

What is the function printing platform in SLM printing equipment?

Printing platform a SLM printer key components where the material substrate (build plate) will be placed to and it carries printing parts moving one layer height down when the former layer is finished.

The powder processing system defers depending on the size of printer.

M50, M100 series, M150 series, and M280 series printers apply the same kind of powder processing system. Within build chamber these printers, there are two powder container, one is called powder feeding chamber which provide printers with metal powder with the aide of powder recoater, the other one is recycled powder container which stores the recycled overflow powder.
For large printer of M480 series, M450, M500, M600, and M650, they are equipped with external powder feeder which feed powder from top. Within the build chamber of these printers, there is a powder receiving platform and a tunnel system which conveys overflow powder to the recycled powder container installed within the printer. Moreover, there is also a waste powder container in the printer.

How should we process metal powder? And what are the tools or machines that one can use for powder processing?

Usually, after the printing process is finished, operators have to clean left powder in the build chamber and the build plate before getting the printed models out of the printer. Then left powder inside and outside the printer should be clean and recycled using a explosion-proof wet vacuum cleaner. Before drying the recycled powder in the drying oven for future use, the recycled powder should be processed using a oscillating sieving machine.

How does the control system manage and control the entire printing process? What are the main components?

Motion control system, atmosphere control (air volume, oxygen content, pressure), temperature control, printing process control, (path control determines printing efficiency (all independently developed))

Both Air filtration-circulation machine and water cooling machine play a key role in improving print quality and efficiency.

How many parameters are included? What is the cost of a parameter set?

All parameters are free. We have developed more than 200 parameters for different materials in various industries.

Why does the Kings M50E need no protective gas?

Whether protective gas is need depending on the characteristics of the source material. The printing material for Kings M50E, such as Tin-silver alloy, can be formed in the air.

What is the lifetime of your laser device generally? In genral, how many years does a Kings SLM printer can work?

The lifetime of our laser devices is around 200 thousands hours (usually longer than this), A Kings SLM metal printer can work at least 10 years.
